My Diet

I haven't been active in the blog because I've been undergoing a juice detox. Well, semi. I still need to find a good schedule and funds to be able to do this properly. Fruits and vegetables in Manila are expensive so I can only do juice fasts in the morning. My longest fast has been up to 17 hours. I'll gradually make that number higher. I've been lethargic and my face is breaking out into angry pimples because of the detox. Here's the combination of vegetables I use for my breakfast juice: carrots broccoli celery turmeric beets calamansi cucumber Sometimes I put watermelon or melon in when I need to "get rid" of them already as they are already too ripe. But, I read from Chris' blog ( www.chrisbeatcancer.com ) that the enzymes needed to digest fruits and vegetables differ so he doesn't mix them. I, on the other hand, usually don't have enough vegetables to make one 8 oz glass of juice so I make do with what I have. Juicing can b...

Monday Catch Up

Happy Monday, everyone! I know it's the start of another work week for most of you. The week-long vacation is over but think of it as a way to exercise and earn money at the same time! Just don't get stressed. Don't forget to do some simple exercises while sitting or standing up in your cubicle. So, let's catch up. I've had a very powerful weekend. I discovered a book called The Healing Codes by Dr. Alex Loyd and if you are sick or your loved one is sick, I recommend this book. I've been practicing the Healing Codes for a few days now and I've seen results. I will explain more about this soon. Last Saturday, we just ran some errands as I wanted to go to Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain on Sunday. I don't have any pictures of the place because I went there to pray, talk to God, discover Him and get rejuvenated with His power. I will take photos next time. Food I don't know if I've posted this last week but this was my Friday breakfast. Th...

The CT-Scan Results and What the Dentist Said

A blessed Friday morning to all! Today, we are pumped to activate our body to heal itself! Amen? Amen! So, last night, we went to get the full reading of my dental CT and gave it to the dentist. She said that she will consult with her surgeon friend first because she wants them to be a team when they remove the tooth and the cyst. The tooth is very near the jaw nerve and the cyst seemed to have thinned out the jawbone. This other surgeon is a specialist in this field so I am thanking God for excellent doctors! The surgery will be done while I am asleep and we might also have the other 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed while we're at it. I will get news next week. I have no fear. Fear does not have a place in the child of God! I have already proclaimed my COMPLETE HEALING and #PERFECTHEALTH so I have nothing to worry about. Tweet For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.  - 2 Timothy 1:7 My Mission My mission is to activate...

A New Day Filled with Blessings

Good morning, everyone! Today is a new day filled with blessings, correct? Tweet Today will be a blessing-filled day! Let's start with what I had for dinner last night. That's chicken and chayote in coconut milk. You can get the recipe here . Scripture As always, I start my day with my devotion. Today's reading talked about giving in our time of need. This tooth has been taking a toll on our budget. I also have other responsibilities and I promised my grandma that I would give her some money in time for her trip to the province. It's hard but I know God will Provide! I will give her the money over the weekend knowing God will provide for our bills.  2 Corinthians 9:12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs  of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Verse from biblegateway.com I read two devotional books. One is from Joel Osteen and the other from Charles Stanley.  My other ...

Lunch Problems, Afternoon Activities and More

So, lunch was a problem today. We had a ton of leftover pizza and I didn't want them to go to waste. I decided I would eat a slice and drink this veggie-fruit shake that I made. I got the pizza out of the oven and when I put the last slice on the plate, the plate slipped and all the slices fell. I guess my guardian angel interfered. I was already hungry and so I scoured the fridge and found some leftover pancit from Savory. I asked husband dear to reheat it for me and this was lunch: cucumber slices, pancit Binondo and leftover scrambled eggs from breakfast I had more cucumber slices during the meal. I know the pancit is not so healthy but I also didn't want to throw away food. We will just finish the leftover food from our previous lifestyle then I will make better choices.  This was the shake. It was thick and gritty. Better with a juicer. Will save up for one.  Rest After lunch, we watched some TV. There's this really nice movie called Cool ...

Staying Healthy While Working on the Computer

I have so many things to share with you as I have been researching, reading and writing about being healthy for many years now. What's changed is that this time, I'm taking it to a higher level by obtaining Perfect Health . Most of us need to work in order to survive. I am a stay-at-home homeschooling mom and sometimes I need to work on the computer too. However, we all know that working on the computer for many hours can lead to poor health. This lead to do some light research on how to stay healthy while working on the computer. This is what I do: Work on the floor We don't have a lot of furniture so I work on the floor. I purchased a small table from Daiso and put my laptop on it to work. The problem with this is my posture. Being a yoga practitioner, I looked for better working positions. I found this blog post: http://bit.ly/2yDVmOk I do the cross-legged position, V-legs position and squatting position alternately changing every 5 minutes. I have a timer on ...

Day 1 - Starting Right

This is Day 1 of our Perfect Health Project. Here's what I've done so far. When I woke up, I give thanks to God for another day, for keeping us safe during the night and for my Perfect Health. Yes, I have claimed complete healing already, in Jesus' name and I keep declaring that throughout the day. I say, "Thank you for my complete healing. Thank you for my perfect health." Tweet: Thank you for my complete healing. Thank you for my #PerfectHealth. Scripture Romans 4:16 New International Version (NIV) 16  Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace  and may be guaranteed  to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.  18  Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations,  just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” [ d ]   19  Without weakening in his faith, he face...

The Perfect Health Project

Hi! If you are new to this place, welcome! If you have been following me through my other blogs ( 240baon , bitsandtreats  and recipebox ), thank you for taking the time to check this new project of mine. I'm starting this project because I want to achieve perfect health. That simple. Perfect health for me is being disease-free, pain-free, being able to serve God, being able to take care of myself, my family and friends; being able to serve other people and touch other people's lives; being able to exercise, play, have fun with my loved ones; being able to work and do the things that I want to do without limits. This is my idea of a perfect health. My story I was a very sickly child. I was always absent from school days to weeks at a time. When I entered high school, it became worse. I was enrolled in a Science school and the pressure and work load was just too much for my body. I was diagnosed with costochondritis. Simply put, my sternum was inflamed from carrying suc...
