Lunch Problems, Afternoon Activities and More

So, lunch was a problem today. We had a ton of leftover pizza and I didn't want them to go to waste. I decided I would eat a slice and drink this veggie-fruit shake that I made.

I got the pizza out of the oven and when I put the last slice on the plate, the plate slipped and all the slices fell. I guess my guardian angel interfered. I was already hungry and so I scoured the fridge and found some leftover pancit from Savory. I asked husband dear to reheat it for me and this was lunch:

cucumber slices, pancit Binondo and leftover scrambled eggs from breakfast

I had more cucumber slices during the meal. I know the pancit is not so healthy but I also didn't want to throw away food. We will just finish the leftover food from our previous lifestyle then I will make better choices.

This was the shake. It was thick and gritty. Better with a juicer. Will save up for one.

Rest

After lunch, we watched some TV. There's this really nice movie called Cool Kids Camp on Fox Family. Too bad we were not able to watch it from the beginning. I think it was halfway or so when we switched channels as my son watched his favorite Battle Bots first.

This movie has a Christian theme with the characters quoting Bible verses and telling Bible stories throughout. I really liked this movie and I'm glad my son was able to watch it.

I also had some rest. I lied down for an hour or so. I know pain is a signal for my body to stop and rest so that's what I've been doing for the past few days.

We also did some homeschool and at 4 pm, we went to Circuit to just run around the park, get the blood pumping and sweat out all those toxins. My son and I just ran around and chased each other. It was fun!

Then we sat down at Starbucks. My son had a vanilla frappe and my husband had his usual mocha. I skipped on drinks but was hungry so I ordered Chicken Pot Pie.

This is the first food at Starbucks that I actually liked. The sandwiches are either bland or blah. The sweets are too sweet for my liking. This was good.

After merienda, we walked around and watched Kart Racing. I looked up to thank God for a beautiful day and saw a huge cloud shaped like a heart. I stopped to admire it and then praised God for my #PERFECT HEALTH and COMPLETE HEALING. I thanked Him for this time spent as a family. I was filled with gratitude. Then, I decided to take a photo. As soon as lifted my phone, the clouds dispersed so fast that this was the only image I got:

Anyway, I'm glad that I was able to see it. I knew it was God's message to me. He was sending me His love and comforting me. I know all things work together for good to them who love Him and who are called for His purpose. Romans 8:28

We walked some more and decided it was time to go home. Dinner's up next. Will try to blog again after. If not, see you tomorrow morning!

The Perfect Health Project

Hi! If you are new to this place, welcome! If you have been following me through my other blogs ( 240baon , bitsandtreats  and recipebox ), thank you for taking the time to check this new project of mine. I'm starting this project because I want to achieve perfect health. That simple. Perfect health for me is being disease-free, pain-free, being able to serve God, being able to take care of myself, my family and friends; being able to serve other people and touch other people's lives; being able to exercise, play, have fun with my loved ones; being able to work and do the things that I want to do without limits. This is my idea of a perfect health. My story I was a very sickly child. I was always absent from school days to weeks at a time. When I entered high school, it became worse. I was enrolled in a Science school and the pressure and work load was just too much for my body. I was diagnosed with costochondritis. Simply put, my sternum was inflamed from carrying suc...

How Baking Helps You To Become a Better Person

Baking is underrated. I feel that so many people believe it's something that only moms and grandmas do. Baking has a lot of wonderful benefits for emotional, physical and mental health. Here are some of them: Baking helps you calm down Baking requires focus. Have you heard of the saying that baking is a science? Unlike cooking that can be adjusted at any time, baking requires the exact amount of ingredients and exact techniques in every step for you to have good results. Concentrating on each step to make a beautiful cake means you don't have time to think about the other million things going through your mind. If you have too much on your mind, take a moment and bake something. Even if it's just an easy muffin or some delicious homemade bread, you can be sure to give your mind and body a break from all the stressors keeping you down. You might even be able to solve that problem you've been worrying about or look at things from a fresh perspective after you fin...
