Day 1 - Starting Right

This is Day 1 of our Perfect Health Project. Here's what I've done so far.

When I woke up, I give thanks to God for another day, for keeping us safe during the night and for my Perfect Health. Yes, I have claimed complete healing already, in Jesus' name and I keep declaring that throughout the day. I say, "Thank you for my complete healing. Thank you for my perfect health."

Thank you for my complete healing. Thank you for my #PerfectHealth.

Scripture

Romans 4:16New International Version (NIV)

16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. 18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”[d] 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Verse from http://bit.ly/2AKom8B

I always do my morning devotion when I wake up. My takeaway today is "being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised". It means I shouldn't worry because God is so powerful that He can do all His promises to me and His promises are Yes, and Amen! Perfect health? Yes and Amen! Financial freedom? Yes and Amen! Fixed relationships? Yes and Amen! Hallelujah to our glorious Father!

Activities

I also did some more reading on how the body heals itself. Just search on Google and you will get tons of resources.

I've decided to go back to eating more healthy foods. I've been lazy and couldn't find the time to go to the market (where all the fresh veg and fruits are) and have been relying on expensive, not-so-fresh produce from the supermarket. Today, I decided to visit my produce sukis and load up on fresh produce. I will try to do this daily.

Benefits of going to the market:

1. Exercise - I walk to and from the market and buy just enough for 1-2 days. This will force me to go back tomorrow or sometime this week again.
2. Sunshine - exposure to free Vitamin D. Vitamin D prevents cancer, among other things
3. Socialization - I am stuck with my son in the house the whole day and that's not good. I did some small talk with my ates  in the market and felt refreshed and happy.
4. A happy heart is the best medicine - a Chinese proverb
5. Some weight lifting exercise - I'm currently having costo pains from lifting heavy things and doing some light fruit lifting helps me stretch out my muscles without hurting them more.

While walking, I kept thanking God for my perfect health. I also enjoyed the sunshine on my face and body, believing it's healing and protecting benefits are absorbed by my skin.

When I got home, I prepared breakfast. Here's my plate:

I also ate 3 slices of dragonfruit before leaving for the market. I've also had a few glasses of water prior to that. I always drink a glass of water when I wake up and before I sleep. Drinking water before sleeping prevents heart attacks.

I ate some scrambled quail eggs with tomatoes (I'm allergic to chicken eggs; more on allergies soon), steamed broccoli and 2 "cheeks" of ripe mangoes. I downed it with a bottle of Yakult and lots of water. I added about a forkful more of the eggs during the meal.

To see the recipe of my breakfast, click here.

That's about it for now. I'll be doing some yoga after I log out. Join me again later as our journey progresses. How about you? What did you have for breakfast today?

The Perfect Health Project

Hi! If you are new to this place, welcome! If you have been following me through my other blogs ( 240baon , bitsandtreats  and recipebox ), thank you for taking the time to check this new project of mine. I'm starting this project because I want to achieve perfect health. That simple. Perfect health for me is being disease-free, pain-free, being able to serve God, being able to take care of myself, my family and friends; being able to serve other people and touch other people's lives; being able to exercise, play, have fun with my loved ones; being able to work and do the things that I want to do without limits. This is my idea of a perfect health. My story I was a very sickly child. I was always absent from school days to weeks at a time. When I entered high school, it became worse. I was enrolled in a Science school and the pressure and work load was just too much for my body. I was diagnosed with costochondritis. Simply put, my sternum was inflamed from carrying suc...

How Baking Helps You To Become a Better Person

Baking is underrated. I feel that so many people believe it's something that only moms and grandmas do. Baking has a lot of wonderful benefits for emotional, physical and mental health. Here are some of them: Baking helps you calm down Baking requires focus. Have you heard of the saying that baking is a science? Unlike cooking that can be adjusted at any time, baking requires the exact amount of ingredients and exact techniques in every step for you to have good results. Concentrating on each step to make a beautiful cake means you don't have time to think about the other million things going through your mind. If you have too much on your mind, take a moment and bake something. Even if it's just an easy muffin or some delicious homemade bread, you can be sure to give your mind and body a break from all the stressors keeping you down. You might even be able to solve that problem you've been worrying about or look at things from a fresh perspective after you fin...
