Monday Catch Up

Happy Monday, everyone! I know it's the start of another work week for most of you. The week-long vacation is over but think of it as a way to exercise and earn money at the same time! Just don't get stressed. Don't forget to do some simple exercises while sitting or standing up in your cubicle.

So, let's catch up.

I've had a very powerful weekend. I discovered a book called The Healing Codes by Dr. Alex Loyd and if you are sick or your loved one is sick, I recommend this book. I've been practicing the Healing Codes for a few days now and I've seen results. I will explain more about this soon.

Last Saturday, we just ran some errands as I wanted to go to Touch of Glory Prayer Mountain on Sunday. I don't have any pictures of the place because I went there to pray, talk to God, discover Him and get rejuvenated with His power. I will take photos next time.

Food

I don't know if I've posted this last week but this was my Friday breakfast. This breakfast sure filled me up.

steamed broccoli, scrambled quail eggs, salad (greens, carrots, Mandarin oranges, cucumbers with a teaspoon of Kewpie Caesar Dressing), 1 mango and a bottle of Yakult.

I also got a  juicer yesterday at SM Masinag. They were having a 3-day sale. We stopped by there before going home from the Prayer Mountain. This juicer is from 3D. I used it this morning for my breakfast juice.

Look at that beautiful red color! For the recipe, click here.

The juice is all I had for breakfast today. Yesterday morning, I fasted. I only drank a glass of warm water with the juice of a slice of lemon then drank Evian water until our lunch around 1:30 pm.

For lunch, I ate about 3/4 fresh lumpiang ubod, 1 cup rice, a lot of soup and veggies from nilagang baka and a stick of pork bbq. I also drank a lot of water. I also ate slowly so as not to shock my system.

For dinner, we had the leftover nilagang baka. I ate just one piece of beef and then veggies. We also had some sizzling tofu. I ate a few pieces. I believe tofu ups the estrogen level and I'm prone to polyps so I only eat tofu rarely. I used to eat it a lot. I think I ate about 3/4 cup of white and brown rice. I mix brown rice into our white rice because it's my son's favorite.

The banana fritters or maruya above is my son's breakfast today. For the recipe, click here.

Scripture

The Lord has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad. - Psalm 118:24

John 14:27New International Version (NIV)

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Isn't it amazing how God moves in our lives? He gives us the hope that we need. Just look at these verses. They fit perfectly into what I'm going through right now.

You know guys, back in the Prayer Mountain, I believe that I have so much of His unshakeable peace already that I only prayed for myself for a short time. I prayed for everybody else and I believe praying for other people in your time of sickness or need is powerful. It benefits you more, actually. Just take for example Joel Osteen's mom. When she was told that she had terminal cancer, she went to church and prayed for others. Thirty five years later, she is still alive and doing God's work. That's how powerful prayer is!

So, I encourage you today to pray. It doesn't matter if it's a short or a long prayer just as long you find the time to talk to God.

That's it for today's catch up. I encourage you to talk to me through this blog. Let's help each other and lift each other up! God bless you all!

The Perfect Health Project

Hi! If you are new to this place, welcome! If you have been following me through my other blogs ( 240baon , bitsandtreats  and recipebox ), thank you for taking the time to check this new project of mine. I'm starting this project because I want to achieve perfect health. That simple. Perfect health for me is being disease-free, pain-free, being able to serve God, being able to take care of myself, my family and friends; being able to serve other people and touch other people's lives; being able to exercise, play, have fun with my loved ones; being able to work and do the things that I want to do without limits. This is my idea of a perfect health. My story I was a very sickly child. I was always absent from school days to weeks at a time. When I entered high school, it became worse. I was enrolled in a Science school and the pressure and work load was just too much for my body. I was diagnosed with costochondritis. Simply put, my sternum was inflamed from carrying suc...
